Ian Ruhter’s artwork - has been collected and or commissioned by Gary Oldman, Cheryl Sandberg, Stewart Butterfield, Paul Sack, Angelina Jolie, and Will & Carrie Singleton. His work is characterized by its authenticity and the use of 19th-century alchemical processes called wet plate collodion. His works have been exhibited in solo shows in New York and Los Angeles. He also participated in group shows at various museums, Ruhter was keynote speaker multiple events, and completed commission camera truck projects throughout the U.S., Canada, and as far off as the United Arab Emirates, cementing his status in the art world.
Ian always welcomed everyone to be part of the project. He also felt that access to his artwork should encompass the same principle and be available to all. This led to the idea of offering select works through his web site. This concept brought on the new release of a select series of archival pigment prints from The Lake collection.
